The Role:
We are seeking a skilled developer with 3 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining decisioning systems, specifically, the GDS Link platform. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of credit risk decisioning, scorecards, business rule development, and integration of third-party data sources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy decision logic using the GDS Link platform (DataView360).
- Translate business requirements into decision strategies and rules.
- Integrate external data sources such as bureaus (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion) and fraud detection tools via GDS Link connectors.
- Collaborate with credit risk teams and business analysts to refine decisioning strategies.
- Perform unit testing and validation of business rules and scorecards.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of decisioning workflows.
- Maintain technical documentation and support release activities.
- Troubleshoot issues related to data mapping, decision trees, and system integrations.
Youβre perfect for this role if you have:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with GDS Link’s DataView360 platform.
- Proficient in decision engine configuration, rule authoring, and flowchart modeling.
- Familiarity with credit risk decisioning in banking, lending, or financial services.
- Experience integrating credit bureaus, fraud tools, and internal APIs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in SQL.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python).
- Exposure to relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
- Understanding of underwriting, risk segmentation, or compliance (e.g., FCRA, AML).
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
Location and Work Expectations: In-office role with a goal/expectation of three to four days a week in-office, but flexible when required. Relocation assistance can be provided.
